There are several familiar faces at the top of the leaderboard, including J eff Madsen (173k) and Champion Club members David Chiu (174k), Shawn Buchanan (164k), Nam Le (160k), Phil Laak (147k) and Scott Seiver (141k). Now, 300 players will return to play today in the San Fransisco Bay Area and the overall chip leader is Giorgio Medici (from Day 1A) with 254,600 in chips. Both starting days at the 2014 World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star have come to a close and, believe it or not, a new record has been set! A total of 713 players bought into tournament (crushing last year's record of 643 players), making it the largest Bay 101 Shooting Star in WPT History!
